Problem Solver
I can't open the file I received
All our files are deliverd in .zip files. Zip is a format that compresses other files (makes them smaller) and combines them in one file. This reduces the download time and the number of files to download. The one zip file contains the MIDI or Audio file, the lyrics file, the license, etc...
Combining different files into one zip files is called 'packing' or 'zipping'. To use the files that are zipped, they have to be restored to their original form. This is called 'unpacking' or 'unzipping'.
You always have to unpack the files before you can use them ! This can be done with zip/unzip software. If you don't have an unzip program installed, you can download
JustZipIt
for free. It's very easy to use but we advise to read the help file of the program anyway.
Remark:
Windows XP and ME users don't have to install unzip software, it's a build-in feature of the OS.

I can't open or save the attachement in Outlook Express
Depending on your security settings, Outlook Express can block all attachemnts. It disables opening and saving attachments, but still shows if a file is attached. For some unknown reason OE also does this with the 'safe' format .zip. To solve this problem, you have to do the following :
Choose 'Tools' in the Outlook Express menu --> 'Options'
Click the Security tab
Click to clear the 'Do not allow attachments to be saved or opened that could potentially be a virus' check box under Virus Protection
Click OK
* If you have installed anti-virus software, this is perfectly safe. If you haven't, enable the security setting again once you've saved the file.

I can't hear the demo's
Our demoplayer uses the settings of your standard mediaplayer to play the demo's. Always check first if your standard mediaplayer can play Audio and MIDI.
If your standard player doesn't produce sound, check the following:
Are the speakers on ?
Is the volume high enough ?
Check the setting of your soundcard
Make sure Audio and MIDI volumes are sufficiently high
Make sure nothing is muted
Is the audio connector well connected(Green connector with most modern PC cards)
If you can hear sound with your standard mediaplayer, but our demoplayer isn't working:
You might have a slow Internet connection, or the website receives a lot of traffic, which makes the audio demo's load slowly
Solution:
Press the stop button on the player
Wait long enough for the demo to load
When the progress bar is full, press play

The quality of the demo's is very different
In the MIDI section we are nevertheless using audio demo's for our newest productions and MIDI demo's for the older titles.
The quality of the audio demo's is always good because they are made with a professional MIDI module.
The quality of the MIDI demo's is dependant on the internal MIDI processor of your soundcard.
Remark: This internal MIDI processor is mostly of lesser quality than a professional MIDI module (normal). This can create a significant difference between audio and MIDi demo's.
