Because MIDI is such a versatile format, this kind of file can serve as :

• Backing tracks for vocalists or instrumentalists
  Solo performers can bring their favourite songs without a band. A custom midifile can easily be adjusted to the desired key or tempo to fit the performer's voice. This makes our midifiles ideal for voice testing. Renowned artists such as Dana Winner and Frank Galan have used voice tests of Mididesign.
• Sheet music for rehearsal or study
  Hard to find songs can be reproduced in MIDI and converted to sheet music. Bands or solo artists can use the file and the score to rehearse their favourite songs. Music students can use the custom file to study a particular piece. In the past, we have made this kind of custom productions for television (Soundmixshow 2000 on VTM, Belgian tv), commercials (Technics on Belgian radio), musical, theater and performing artists.
• Film music, commercials and jingles.

Sequencing a midifile according to the high standards of Mididesign takes about 3 to 4 days. Subsequently, the price of a custom production is higher than that of a Standard Midifile from our catalog.

The base price is increased for the following styles of music :
Jazz, Big Band, Symphonic, Live Performance, Broadway Musical or Classic = + 50% of base price
Medley = + 80% of base price

If you wish to purchase any of the midifiles from our catalog in AUDIO format, we charge the price of the file (8 euros) + 50 euros (Total : 58 euros). These prices are excl. VAT (21%) and shipping costs.

ARRANGEMENTS

One of the additional services Mididesign has to offer to its customers is the creation of arrangements.

• Full orchestration of an original composition
  For creative composers without the budget for recording with session musicians, a custom midifile offers the possibility to create a fully orchestrated version of your composition. This is a low-cost solution which allows you to possess a professional sounding demo. Vocals can easily be added to this kind of file.
• Partial orchestration of an original composition
  Bands who would like to record their songs with horns or strings, but have no budget to hire additional musicians, can use a custom midifile to spice up their own songs.
• Remake of an existing song
  Performers who would like to record their own version of an existing song, can order a complete arrangement according to their wishes.
